Webcheck.pt is a joint initiative of the Portuguese National Cybersecurity Center (CNCS-PT) and the DNS.PT Association (.PT) to promote the adoption of good practices and standards that most contribute to the security, integrity and confidentiality of communications through the Internet.
This platform allows any citizen or entity to verify, in real time, the level of compliance of an internet and e-mail domain with the latest standards for secure communication between systems, facilitating the identification of the necessary technical measures that ensure greater resilience and a more secure online presence and communication.
Webcheck.pt also provides a set of technical recommendations and tutorials to help implement some of the standards evaluated. For more information, contact: info@webcheck.pt
PROMOTING ENTITIES
The Portuguese National Cybersecurity Center acts as an operational coordinator and national authority on cybersecurity with State entities, Operators of Critical Infrastructures, Operators of Essential Services and Digital Service Providers, ensuring that cyberspace is used as a space of freedom, security and justice, to protect the sectors of society that materialize national sovereignty and the rule of democratic law. The DNS.PT Association has as its main mission the management, operation and maintenance of the registration of the top level domain corresponding to Portugal - .pt -, by complying with the law, the principles of transparency and publicity, its statutes and the best national and international technical, administrative and strategic recommendations applicable to it.
